Today I'm chatting about reciprocity in relationships & boundaries with family and friends. I talk about loneliness, making new friends, setting boundaries with family, and friends, and creating reciprocity in relationships by being honest with myself and what I wanted and being vulnerable enough to communicate that and possibly face rejection. I talk about fawning, the anxiety of setting boundaries when you've had trauma/grown up in a dysfunctional home, and people-pleasing, overgiving tendencies. I also talk about ghosting and how painful that is and how that and the lack of reciprocity, and boundaries erode our self-esteem.
